The adult world is a falsely learned world, living in its firm beliefs, about anything and everything in this world, totally oblivious to the fact, that everything we see is nothing but a mere perception of our own being!
We are but a mere perspective and we live within nothing but our own bubble. Our mutual bubble i would say. And thus, it makes everything boring and dull and faded and depraved and what not!
What is even interesting about this world anymore!
Mundane life! Mundane uncertainty!
Well, only until we have a glimpse of eternity or until something just magically opens our wide-shut eyes and minds!
The adult world is an absurd world, thinking it has everything figured out, in the midst of this absurd universe.
And we, the curious kind, often feel a desperate need to get out of this maddening certainty!
Well, one of the escapes out the boring bubble of humanity is to look at the world through the eyes of Da Vinci!
One can begin by pretending to die by closing his/her eyes and then reawakening with a different set of eyes and specially the mind.
A pair of eyes that would look at the world
in awe and wonder!
A mind that would be taken aback by everything and would become curious about anything it encounters and then spend its entire life speculating it right from “what can that substance be” to “how can that substance be” to “where does it come from” to “what is it made up of” and more and more and more and more questions that would eventually lead him down paths to secrets that maybe we’ve never known before!
Oh!
A man looking at the world with curious eyes and speculating everything in it to divine how things have eventually come to be!
And the infinite possibilities!
And that’s indeed how one can live the best life possible.
That’s indeed one of the finest ways to live!
That’s indeed how one can feel most fulfilled!
That’s indeed how one can become the happiest!
For the happiest are the ones often chasing their curiousity!
And that’s indeed how Da Vinci must have said,
“Learning never exhausts the mind.”
To which i,
who thinks myself to be Albus Dumbledore,
would like to add,
“A curious pair of eyes would lead you to the elixir of life.”
Wonderful!

I’m not sure a curious mind leads to happiness; but, I’m not sure happiness is the purpose of life. Well thought out post, I felt it desired some kind of comment. Sorry, this was the best I could do at the moment.

I ,indeed, agree with you. I would say,”The purpose is simply to savor the journey, for the journey is the only destination.” And your appreciation means a lot to me. Thankyou so much. ๐

I am not sure I understand what you mean about everything being “a mere perception of our own being”. For myself, I do not believe that the universe is a projection of my own creation. But I do agree that we are often blinded by what we think we know. Curiosity can open new worlds to us.

I said perception, mate. A mere perspective. We never really see reality as it is. We’re always looking at the world through the lens of our own biases. ๐๐ “There’s the whole universe out there to travel to, but we barely ever leave our minds.” ๐

Indeed, Aman. We are often the slaves of our perceptions. Here’s a quote extracted from my post published at http://soundeagle.wordpress.com/2017/10/18/the-quotation-fallacy/
Happy mid-November to you!

Indeed, the adult world is absurd whenever we think we have everything figured out. Good post!
