Movies have been a great part of our lives ever since they took over the world and now they’ve influenced us to an extent that we barely not live or want to live in some illusionary movie like tale that our own life might be unfolding!
Well, there’s nothing bad in that. Indeed, it’s much more fun. It truly makes living way more amazing. All the world’s a stage had never been truer. It had never come to life like this ever before!
Infact, i feel
all the world’s a stage had been a prophecy of some kind by Shakespeare!
And indeed, in a positive light, movies, when looked upon as a tool for expanding our consciousness and awareness towards life, uncertainty and nothingness, definitely come in handy. Good movies can be relied upon just as much as good books. Afterall movies are often made straight out of books!
On the wheel of cinema, many a great directors and actors have come to light, whose vision and execution transformed them into one of the biggest names on the globe! And just like books, one can often turn to them to entertain oneself into a higher realm of life and understanding and leave the theatre with unending thoughts, never to be the same person again that they were before entering that movie!
Directors like Stanley Kubrick, Andrei Tarkovsky, Ingmar Bergman to modern day lads like Spielberg, Scorsese, Nolan and Fincher
to immortal actors like James Dean, Marlon Brando, Heath Ledger, Keanu Reeves and many more;
can lead you into a world unlike any you’ve seen or dreamt of before!
They’ll leave you with an expanded mental awareness and a mind stretched to the edge of its limits, just like a book by Shakespeare or Tolstoy or Dickens would.
So why have you been so serious?
Why not dive into the massive world of movies and surface as a brand new person, with 22 different personalities, maybe.
Wonderfully put and I totally agree with the last line ( all my other personalities agree too )
